Gearing up for Halloween 2023

With school about to start in 9 days, we are starting to gear up for Halloween 2023.. I know I have not posted anything this summer on the new items for this year, but that is mainly because there is not as much actual crafting to do. But here is the finalized list of what is on tap in addition to what we had out last year:

• Pirate shipwreck (about 12-15 feet long made of building foam and a metal frame)
• Ye Olde Fashioned Pirate Shoppe lean to with various potions, swords, hooks, anchors, etc.
• Skeletons playing poker
• Many more grave stones for the cemetery
• New ghosts
• A skeleton walking a skeleton dragon
• A lit marked walking path for the kiddos and their families to prowl through the display

At the risk of driving my incredible wife crazy, we will probably start the interior decorating around Labor Day (minus the black lights since I know that will put her over the edge... LOL) with an eye towards starting the exterior build out in mid Sept as it starts to cool down a bit more in the evening here in the blast furnace that is Texas at this time of year.
